Fleur de Lis & The City
Article 3
What a great day to be writing about the fleur de lis! In New Orleans today, the city is hosting the French Quarter Festival. Not only is this weekend the festival, but it is the 25th Anniversary!
The team of promoters of the festival have incorporated a beautiful fleur de lis design into the logo of the event. You can visit the picture of the fleur de lis here.
We just love the intricate looking design of the fleur de lis logo as well as the other elements that were used. Inside the design, you will notice a gas street light which is soooo New Orleans. Music notes, instruments, and a snapshot of the St. Louis Cathedral round off the inside of the fleur.
The iron looking fleur de lis fence posts sit in the background for neat and unique twist which is topped off with scroll work. This logo is so well thought out and beautiful that we just had to share.
We hope everyone gets a chance to come out and enjoy the festival! The weather couldn't be more perfect!

Do you know where I can find a chrome fleur de lis car emblem? Someone here in Houston had one on their Lexus - it was about 2in high. Thanks.
