Gather up everyone who may be responsible for the financial funding of your wedding and come to an agreement that everyone can live with right up front. This may include only you and your fiance or an entire family. Go into this discussion knowing that it will change and be revised by the time everything is over with, but coming up with a figure everyone can live with early is key to working your wedding budget.

Saving

Discuss with your fiance what your plan will be when unexpected costs arise during the planning of your wedding. This is a good way to have a plan ahead of time, avoiding arguments later.
