So as you know, we are fleur de lis crazy right? Well if you have been to the New Orleans lately, (and we hope you have as the city really needs visitors right now) you probably noticed the beautiful, large free standing fleur de lis that are all over the city. These beautiful pieces of artwork are to help raise money for the Fore!Kids Foundation. The public art dispay has been going on since February 2007.
Well, not only are these fleur de lis gorgeous and artistic, but they are also for sale. You can actually own a piece of New Orleans buy purchasing one for $7500.00. If you click here, you will find the name of each piece, it's theme, location, and designer.

These are absolutely gorgeous. I'm from Quebec, Canada and the fleur de lys is hugely popular here as well as it is a symbol of French Canada.
It is even on our Quebec provincial flag.
I wish I had money to afford one of these statues, but thanks for sharing anyhow! :)
